The original 005 cassette opened, as does this CD with Just A Little One, a brief burst of free improvisation by myself on piano and Jan on alto. It was initially just a means of getting a recording level, but we both agreed to include it on the original cassette; the title is a reference to a line in one of American writer Dorothy Parker’s pieces relating to alcohol intake, but in our case it really was just the one.
